Wedding Day Timeline
If you are coming from Bayfield, please plan to take the 1:00 PM ferry at the latest. The ferry ride is ~20 minutes and will drop you at the Madeline Island Ferry Landing. We recommend leaving your cars behind and doing a walk-on ticket. There will be a shuttle picking up at the landing that will take you to Island Estate. You can also choose to walk, which is ~0.2 miles.

Shuttle begins pickup from Madeline Island Ferry Landing
A 15 person shuttle will run from 1:20 PM - 2:00 PM that pickups at the Madeline Island Ferry Landing and drops guests off at The Island Estate. This is a <5 minute drive. Parking is available for those with a car on the island either by the ferry landing or the ice road parking lot. Both are ~0.2 miles from Island Estate. Please do not park on Whitefish St or surrounding streets, as it is against city ordinance.
Guests may begin to arrive at Island Estate
You are welcome to arrive at Island Estate beginning at 1:30 PM. Refreshments will be available to enjoy before and during the ceremony.

Ceremony begins
Hang out with us at the Island Estate and enjoy drinks, appetizers, lawn games, and music.
3 PM
Cocktail hour begins
Shuttle back to Madeline Island Ferry Landing begins
4 PM
Shuttle will be making trips back to the Madeline Island Ferry Landing from 3:45 PM - 4:45 PM. Ferries will be running concurrently on the half hour.
Last ferry to Bayfield to be on time to the reception
5 PM
To arrive at the reception before 6 PM, please ensure to take a ferry before 5:30 PM.
Doors open at St James Social for reception
Drinks and appetizers will be available upon arrival.
